Will this happen to you ? I do not know. Will it happen to me ? I don't think so. WHY ? MONEY factor.

I had been working for the past 20 years and have a little bit of saving. In my EPF (Employee Provident Fund), i have less then 200,000. By the time i retired, i should have about 300,000. (touch wood). Let say if i can live until 75 years old after retired at age 55, mean i need to spend this 300,000 wisely within 20 years. It work out to be 15,000 per year or 1,250 per month. Is this enough ? Barely enough if you are living in a city with no other committment like housing loan to repay or child to support.

What happen if you are sick and hospitalised ? That should take a big chunk of your 300,000. Will you survive from what left ?

I do not think so.

SO ? What can we do ? NOW, you still can do something but after you are retired and old, nothing you can really do.

Why not take the whole 300,000 to start a business ? Do you think you can make more money with that 300,000? How many retired people make it ? Google it and check the statistic.

My personal answer to that is by way of MLM or direct sales. I am not asking you to join me in my MLM business but just share the concept with you. When you join a reputable MLM company which had been in the market for long, you know this company might not easily fold up by the time you retired.

Work hard and build a solid network. Maybe in the begining, you might not make lot of money but with hardwork, deternination, maybe within a few years you might make around 5,000 a month. These money will increase according to time, your network will grow and hence your income will grow.

These income will only increase and will not run away. By the time you retired, you still have this steady income. With this, you can really enjoy life.
