Ghost in the Factory

Do you believe in ghost ? I DO believe and i also believe that if you don’t do shit thing, you will not get hurt.

Today i saw my colleague are gathering around showing off hand phone. This is what i saw and i ask them to Bluetooth it to me. The story goes like this. Last Friday, one of the factory worker is doing over time and it is around 7.00pm.

He took out his camera phone to snap around the factory where he is working at that moment. This is what he saw.  The background is the same as the actual factory setting so i don’t think this is a sick joke or what. Good luck to all my collogue at that side of the factory who works late.

Biro Bantuan Guaman (FREE Legal Services)

Biro Bantuan Guaman or Free Legal Services is a department that provides you with free legal services and it is under the Jabatan Perdana Menteri or the Prime Minister Department.

On 13th April 2009, the Sin Chew Daily (a local Chinese newspaper) had publish a article on this free legal services.

This services is mainly to help those poor people who seek legal help. You only need to pay RM2.00 to get FREE LEGAL SERVICES.

This RM2.00 includes properties issues, divorce, claim from insurance company, legal service to get loan for machinery purchases and many more.

This RM2.00 registration fees is only applicable for those who annual income is RM25,000 and below. For those who annual income is more then RM25,000 and below RM30,000, he/she have to pay RM300.00 plus the RM2.00 registration fees.

The following is the extract from the department webpage in Bahasa:

Peguam panel Biro Bantuan Guaman ialah peguam-peguam swasta, terdiri daripada Peguambela dan Peguamcara yang mempunyai sijil amalan guaman yang sah dan telah dilantik oleh Ketua Pengarah Biro Bantuan Guaman untuk mengendalikan kes-kes sivil dan syariah yang diserahkan oleh pihak Biro dengan kadar bayaran tertentu yang akan ditanggung oleh pihak Biro.

Jenis-jenis kes yang boleh diserahkan kepada peguam panel ialah;

1. Kes-kes di mana sekiranya kedua-dua pihak layak untuk mendapat bantuan guaman.
   Pengarah Biro Bantuan Guaman tidak boleh mewakili atau bertindak bagi mana-mana pihak atau kedua-dua pihak kepada pertikaian berkenaan.
2. Kes-kes yang melibatkan isu undang-undang yang rumit dan kompleks.
3. Kes-kes lain yang boleh menyebabkan wujudnya percanggahan kepentingan sekiranya diwakili oleh Biro Bantuan Guaman.

Biro Bantuan Guaman ialah satu badan kerajaan yang memberi bantuan perundangan dari segi nasihat dan juga bantuan guaman dalam perkara berkaitan dengan undang-undang kepada mereka yang kurang berkemampuan atau tidak mampu untuk melantik peguam swasta bagi mewakili mereka di mahkamah.

No Space Leave The Place‏

Can you tell when you are in a hotel room, restroom, motel etc. with a mirror whether it is in fact a mirror or 2-way glass?

How to determine if a mirror is 2-way or not?

When we visit toilets, bathrooms, hotel rooms, changing rooms, etc., how many of you know for sure that the seemingly ordinary mirror hanging on the wall is a real mirror, or actually a 2-way mirror (i.e., they can see you, but you can't see them)? There have been many cases of people installing 2-way mirrors in female changing rooms.

It is very difficult to positively identify the surface by just looking at it. So, how do we determine with any amount of certainty what type of mirror we are looking at?

Just conduct this simple test:

Place the tip of your fingernail against the reflective surface and if there is a GAP between your fingernail and the image of the nail, then it is a GENUINE mirror.

However, if your fingernail DIRECTLY TOUCHES the image of your nail, then BEWARE, FOR IT IS A 2-WAY MIRROR! 'No Space, Leave the Place' So remember, every time you see a Mirror, do the 'fingernail test.' It doesn't cost you anything.

you are wasting

my precious time !!!

On 17th March 2009, i apply one day leave do a education withdrawal at the KWSP branch in Jalan Raja Laut.  I had to take one day off as government department is very inefficient.  Sometimes one day is not enough to do a simple transaction.

I reached KWSP in the morning. Waiting for about 10 seconds in the queue to get a number but was told by the friendly staff that i can go straight to the semak (checking) counter after telling them i want to do a education withdrawal.

I proceed to the semak counter, show him all the forms and necessary documents.  He check through the forms and documents thoroughly and tell me everything is okay.  Please proceed back to the numbering counter to get a number.

After getting the number, within few minutes, i was with this friendly officer.  She check through everything again and give me precious advise.  She then ask me whether i prefer to self collect the cheque or prefer post.  I told her i prefer self collect and she wrote the number that i should call after 10 working days for the status.

Do you all know how much time i wasted there ? I wasted less then 30 minutes there. Why are you guys so efficient ? You are wasting my time and money.  I bought 2 newspaper to read and some junk food to eat for passing time while waiting (this is my experience from other government department) but shit….. you only took less then 30 minutes of mine.  What am i going to do next ? Go home to sleep ?

The withdrawal was approved on the 20th March 2009 and cheque was issued on 23th March 2009 and they call me up on the 28th March 2009 to collect cheque.  I took another day off on the 30th March 2009 to collect the cheque (only 10 minutes to get the cheque).

KWSP, i salute you.  You are damm efficient. Good work. Keep it up.

A1 GP Algarve, Portugal

	Vodafone A1GP Algarve, Portugal   April 10-12, 2009
I am a big fan of motor racing. I love F1 and A1 GP.  As usual, i am a Malaysian and i really support the Malaysian team.

Fairuz Fauzy is so far the best Malaysian driver in A1 GP races, love his skill and guts. (maybe they are better one but he is the lucky one). The only complain i have for the Malaysian A1 GP team is … WHAT THE FUCK YOU GUYS DOING ?  Every team are having the SAME Ferrari engine but how come other team can tune the car to the limit and you shit head Malaysian engineer can’t ?  Are you guy get the chance because you know WHO and not you know WHAT ?  On the TV screen, you can see a BIG different.  Malaysia car is using the power boost and the other team is not but the different is mere noticeable.  And when other team uses the power boost, the Malaysian car can kiss ass and say goodbye.

Vodafone A1GP Algarve, Portugal   is a big let down.  I just wonder how the stewards’ work.  The screen flashes that the Ireland car need to do a drive through penalty and they didn’t even do it during the full course of the race.  All the TV (i flip through 2 TV station) commentators are saying when the Ireland car going to do the drive through penalty but at the end, his car is park at the front and Adam Carroll (Ireland driver) coolly walk up and took the watch and celebrate on the podium and even the after race interview.  Are you fuckers blind ? Everyone knew he had lost his place but all these stewards can’t see. Why ? Racist ? Money ?

The best of the best what the commentators comment on these issue is, during a football match, if a player get a red card, he don’t have to leave the field and continue to score goals.  This is a typical shits we all learn from those asshole A1 Portugal organizer.

If i am the Malaysian team, i would demand those asshole A1 Portugal organizer to pay millions of Euro as the compensation for the lost of air time, potential big sponsorship and lost of face.  Fairuz, please demand for a new watch as that watch given back to you is classified as SECOND HAND item and the value and glory is no longer there.

PIKOM PC Fair 2009

PIKOM PC Fair 2009 is really a BIG let down. The number of exhibiter had shrink at least 60% to 70%.

I am a fan of PC fair. Not all the time i went there to purchase something but to gain knowledge and have a hands-on on the product. I used to spend around 3 to 4 hours harboring around the booths.

What i love most is these…….

but this year the number and the quality had drops tremendously.

What i heard most this year when walking around is…. where are those pretty girls ? People say got a lot of pretty promoters but where ? mana ? Shits…. wasting time only.

Usually there are multimedia display in a big hall where more then 10 companies exhibit their speakers but this year, they scrap this hall and ends up only 3 very small booths displaying speakers.

Prices in this year PC fair is about the same as Low Yat normal price. Last year i bought my Karpasky anti virus (3 user license) with free gift for only RM 50 but this year, those small booths with small kids promoter (who know shits of computer nor anti virus) are selling it for RM 75.

So….. ends up this year is the fastest years i spend on PC fair. From KLCC car park to KL Convention Center and back to KLCC car park i only spent a mere 50 minutes.

If you do plan to buy something, just go to Low Yat Plaza and don’t even think of spending your precious time over at this lousy PC fair. This is the year that you don’t see a lot of people carrying things out of the PC fair.

清明 (Ching Ming) 2009

清明 is a day for the Buddhist to visit and pay respect to ancestor. For this year 清明 it falls on 4th April 2009. In Chinese believe, we can go to the grave yard to pay respect to our ancestor on the actual 清明 day or 1 month before and 1 month after the actual day depends on our schedule. This year, i will go to my great grand-parent grave first, then follow by my grand-parent. The next day only i go to my father grave to pay respect.

On 清明 day, i will be up by 4.00 am. Ready and go out by 5.30am. Why i go out so early ? This is all because of traffic jam. That was one time, we (me and my late father) went out around 6.00am and by the time we reach my great grand-parent grave, it is almost 12.00 noon. Six hours in the car. Normal day to reach there is about 15 minutes. On 清明 day, i predict i will be at the entrance of the grave yard around 6.00am. Hopefully no jam. I will be waiting over there until 7.00am as too early, it’s very dark with haze and scary to go in.

When we reach the tomb, we normally will clean the surrounding and try all minor repair for the tombs. Then, we will put one whole chicken (steam cook), one big slice of pork (also steam cook), some Chinese cake (fat kow) , fruits, three glass of Chinese tea, three glass of wine. With all this in place, we will burn incense and candle to pray. We will put incense and candle around the tombs (for the decease to EAT) and also pray at all their neighbors. After one hour of EATING the chicken and others, we will burn a big suitcase of money(only can be use in the spiritual world, some paper cloths, a big car and others for them to have it. All this are the same as our human world, they have Plasma or LCD TV, DVD player, mobile phone, massage chair, cars, house, maid, VISA or MasterCard, air ticket and many more. After burning all those NECCESSITY to them then we clean up and bring the chicken and slice of pork for the next grave, my grand parents grave and do the same too.

After praying for my grand parents, we don’t go home straight. This is to prevent those spirits (don’t know which spirits) might follow you home. Normally we will go to a crowded place like a shopping mall to OFF LOAD those spirit before heading home. Then, the night, we will pray again to our ancestor offering food again. Then only we will eat together as a whole family just like a gathering dinner. I am an old fashion man and i insist of doing this year after year. I will not forget my ancestor as without them, where am i. My advise to others is, please take care of your parent while they are still alive, spend time and happiness with them and not just go and burn money and pray for them once a year.
